Welcome to Rebuild Life Now

Welcome to my new blogging home.  This website has been designed and re-configured  by Joshua Denney, a talented and artistic ‘webguy’.  He also happens to be the tech guy behind the Tiny Buddha and the Bridgemaker sites, among many others.    This techy stuff is quite arduous for me so bear with me as I get familiar with my new surroundings.

Here’s my little intuitive tale of the flower logo Joshua designed:  (as written up in Powered by Intuition)

I was walking along the beach a couple of weeks ago (my usual Sunday morning walk along a 4 mile stretch of beach and boardwalk at Long Beach) and I came upon a young woman sticking a one-stemmed tall yellow -headed flower into the sand. I got the goose bumps as I stopped to look at this unique scene.   I saw her huge lensed camera and assumed she was doing photo shoots.  Indeed she was, for a class.

This was just too bizarre for me to come upon this scene.

Why, what was the significance here for me?

In working on the beginning stages of doing some revamping work on my website, my web guy came up with the logo of a single flower coming out of the letter ‘i’ in the word Life.   He actually sent me a bunch of sketched ideas for a visual.  I was leaning towards this flower idea but wasn’t totally sure.

After seeing this beach scene, that was it.  Flower logo it became.  I felt like I was given a message, a sign.  I mean how much more obvious could it have been.  I’ve never in my life seen someone stick a single flower into the sand.”
Have you ever gotten a sign of something when in the throes of a decision and suddenly there it is – the decision before your eyes?

Just wanted to follow-up with Lori Deschene’s gracious giveaway by announcing the winner of her set of 5 e-books –  Breah was the lucky recipient.

I welcome your feedback and suggestions here in the Comments section or on the Contact page.  Thanks for coming by; always hoping you have some take-a-way from the readings.

    Hi Harriet,

I love the new look, wonderful job.

I would have gotten goose bumps too after seeing the lady with the single flower as you were walking. I do believe that was a good sign because I love the header and he did a great job with that.

Thanks for sharing this story and I love the new look. Great job!

I LOVE your new site, Harriet, especially the blog titles rotating by. That is very nice. I believe that single flower was meant to be . It looks good and very inviting.
